Coventry Herald 20 April 1923. Priory Hill School Recalled.Death of Miss Elizabeth Hammerton. Died at 24 Clarendon Ave. Leamington. Miss Elizabeth Hammerton daughter of the late Mr George Hammerton of Wolston. Aged 95 Brother Arthur conducted a preparatory classical boarding schoolat Priory Hill, Woolston. At one time she took a prominent part in running the school. The school closed down many years ago and has since been a private residence. In 1881 Elizabeth was living 42 Kirkdale, Lewisham she was unmarried, her occupation was Berlin Wool and Fancy Goods Depository. She was living with her unmarried sister Caroline (partnership).
